Finishing

The seond quarter is nearing its end. We have two days of school before Thanksgiving and then we hit our two and half week home stretch. Our 2nd quarter test will be on Friday the December 11th.

The seventh graders are studying reading and writing decimals, coordinate planes, area, mixed number addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and two-step word problems.

The eighth graders are studying coordinate plane transformations, Algebraic addition, Algebraic multiplication, Term manipulation, and two-step unit multipliers.

Stay Strong the 2nd Quarter is a step up from the first

7th: The 7th graders have made great strides in the last month. Their Journal work has become much more consistent and well thought out as a whole. The 2nd quarter is when we quicken our pace so students must keep their focus. We are studying prime factorization, area, perimeter, and word problem diagramming.

8th: We are presently studying insufficeint information comparisons, graphing inequalities, and computing complex figure area. The 8th grade is moving strong and progress reports are around the corner so keep up the good work.
